Freshly Ground Stories
How do I get in touch?
You can reach out via hello@freshlygroundstories.com
Here are some questions that come up regularly. Other websites usually call this “Frequently Asked Questions or FAQs”.
We’re not really a question-answer type of business. Freshly finds the exchange of conversation way more fun, so if you have more questions or want more details about anything on this page, reach out and let’s talk.
I’m a freelancer/consultant and want to join the Freshly Collective to source more project work. How do I do that?
The Freshly Collective is always expanding with diverse creative thinkers. Get in touch and we’ll take it from there.
I don’t have any budget. Do you work on a commission model?
No. There is no commission model available where Freshly takes a percentage once you receive funding/revenue from your project. Freshly is paid for its time spent working with you.
If you are interested in a commission model, there are lots of agents in the creative industry who operate using a commission model.
Can you get me an introduction to a specific contact, studio, streamer, talent or platform?
No. Freshly does not provide contact details or facilitate introductions in exchange for money (there are other people and organisations that do that).
In Freshly’s experience, this is typically neither engaging nor sustainable in the long run. If you are working on a project with Freshly and it organically calls for input from a specialist, those will be members of Freshly Collective.
There also may be organic circumstances (e.g. festivals, industry meetings) where your project is relevant to the conversation or initative and someone may ask for your contact details. In that case, with every parties’ consent, an introduction may be facilitated by Freshly and you can take it from there.
How much do your services cost?
By exploring this website, you’ll notice we offer a range of different services (some of which also involve additional specialists), so depending on what brought you here, we’ll address the price range in your free discovery call.
Coaching is a cost that is sometimes covered by employers or insurance. Business & Legal Affairs are usually fees that are expected to be listed in production budgets. Explore these avenues if they are relevant, as you might not have to pay anything from your own pocket to work with us.
We’re also committed to accessibility and in certain circumstances, can offer limited pro-bono services and flexible payment terms, so if you think you fall into that category, book a free no-obligation chat and let us know when we speak.
Some of the photos on this site include me or my copyright and I’d like them credited and/or removed.
We’re glad you asked. Some of these images are over ten years old from community submissions and archive footage over the years and whilst they capture part of our story powerfully, some of the sources aren’t clear. If your name is missing please let us know, we’d love to credit you.
